I've know this family for a while now. My husband went to high school with Amanda's brothers, and even roomed with them in college. It is always such a pleasure to get this beautiful family in front of my camera. I took Amanda's maternity photos when she was pregnant with their first child . Baby Naomi was one of my very first newborn sessions. I was so excited when Joe and Amanda contacted me to set up their newborn session for baby Silas. I joined them in their home one morning to capture the tiny (or not so tiny!) cuteness of their precious new additon. Baby Silas is by far the STRONGEST baby I've ever met. He's already a little man. :) He wasn't much on curly, squishy newborn poses, but that was alright by me! Every newborn session is unique, and I love love love the images we came out with. Enjoy a few favorites from this in-home lifestyle newborn session!

The most perfect head full of blonde hair!

Naomi is the best big sister! So attentive and gentle. She loves her brother, that's for sure!

Naomi was a big helper for me during the session. She helped me set up my backdrop stand. She sat patiently while we took pictures of baby Silas with mom and dad. She's such a doll.

Maybe my most favorite newborn photo EVER! So. Much. Beauty!

Noami didn't want to get in the tent with brother, so daddy got in instead. Worked like a charm, because she certainly didn't want to be left out and we got this precious photo as one of our very last of the day!

And just for fun, a comparison of baby Naomi in November 2012 and baby Silas April 2015. They could be twins!
