Basic Details
Do you add taxes to your session fees?
Yes, there is an 8.75% sales tax added to every session booked.
Are there any hidden costs of booking with you?
Absolutely not. The price you see on the pricing page (plus tax) is the only cost you will ever have to pay as long as your session takes place within 25 miles of Conway, AR.
Do I get a disc of images with my session?
Yes!My sessions are all-inclusive, which means you will recieve a set amount of fully edited digital images with a print release after your session You can then use those images to print photos for your family memberes or make photo books.. I do not sell prints or products.
How long will my session be?
Almost all of my sessions are an hour long. The only exceptions are newborn sessions and bridal sessions.
How many images will I receive?
I do not have a set number of images that I deliver. You will get every photo that I deem a "keeper", For a full session you will never recieve less than 20 fully edited images.
Do you travel?
For most sessions I try to stay within 25 miles of Conway, AR. For special occasions and weddings, I do travel farther out for an additional fee. This fee is $1/mile round-trip for every mile past the 25 mile radius.
Do you have a studio?
No, all of my sessions take place outdoors or in your home.
Do you have props?
No, my style is very naturalistic and doesn't include a lot of props. You are more than welcome to bring along a few special props for your session. Actually, I encourage that! Using items that mean something to you (a grandmother's quilt, sports paraphanalia, momentos from your relationship, etc) make your photos unique and special! For my newborn sessions I do provide a few backdrops and blankets.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes ,I do! 50% or $200 (whichever is less) is due at the time of booking to secure your date, but the remainder of your cost can be paid however you would like, as long as it is paid in full at least 1 week prior to your session. I understand that professional photography is an expensive product, however I firmly believe that EVERYONE can afford photography if they truly want it by planning ahead, making payments, and most importantly, by viewing professional photography as a priority that is worth the investment.
The Fun Stuff
What types of photos do you prefer to take?
I tend to be more of a lifestyle photographer. Simply put, I like to take photos of you being YOU. I do minimal posing and like to take photos that look natural and joyful. I like to capture the moment in a way that will make you smile to look back on. I like to capture images that truly tell something about the subject. I do a few traditional posed "look at me and smile" photos in every session, but the more candid photos are the ones that make my heart sing.
Where will my session be?
I have a few local places that I shoot at regularly, but if you have a special place in mind, please let me know! I love shooting at new places. :)
Can I change outfits?
Yes! However, that will factor in to your 1 hour session time. I recommend no more than 2 outfit changes.
What equipment do you use?
I shoot with a Nikon D750 and various Nikon lenses.
